practice of engineering. This nationally accredited program covers the
general principles of civil engineering technology with an emphasis
on surveying, construction materials and the design of civil works. The
program also covers soils and requirements for using concrete and asphalt
in construction; hydraulics and hydrology; cost estimating; project
planning; contract and specification writing; and structural analysis.
